Lucid Nonsense is an Oat IPA brewed with Centennial, Eureka, and El Dorado hops. Featuring a malt bill of Maine-grown barley and wheat, sourced from Blue Ox malthouse, this hop bomb is clean and bright, sporting notes of tropical citrus that linger on the palate thanks to an addition of body-boosting oats.

On tap at the brewery Cambridge Boston. Turbid pale gold colour lasting white head. Dank aroma and flavour. Light citrus and light tropical fruit flavours. Light in mouth agile. Hoppy some sherbet. Grapefruit tangerine mango decent but definitely in the Neipa style. Decent bitterness on the finish though.

16 oz. can shared by Chalumeaux, thanks! The color is a bright yellow with thin head. Aroma is citrus, mild grass, tropical fruit, and pale grain.

The body is on the lighter side of medium with crispness. Mouthfeel has a nice chewiness on the tongue. Flavor upfront with a lightly tropical fruit, citrus pith, and shows a moderate level of bitterness after the sip. I like this!!

Draught at Lulu’s, 3/7/17.
Moderately hazy brass with a light amber-golden hint and a foamy white head atop showing moderate retention.
Juicy and with a spicy edge to it in the nose. Lots of nectarine, melon and white peach. A touch of resin and light alcohol with biscuity, bare malts behind it and light pine lingering.
Juicy again in the mouth with lots of nectarine, melon, kumquat and sharp, somewhat hot pith and marshmallow. Could use tighter carbonation and a more richly supple malt body. As is, the resinous pine, sharp ester and strong, drying melon shows through too much.
