Draught at the brewery, 12/22/17.
Moderately cloudy, banana-canteloupe-golden with a small, off-white head that slowly recedes to ring.
Banana, clove and cereal/wheat-like notes give an authentic, classic impression of a German hefe. Very straightforward, with low-to-moderate bubble gum and seemingly low malt sweetness. No flaw or alcohol.
In the mouth it has a good dryness/attenuation with a strong malt backbone and soft wheat-like textures throughout. Engaging carbonation propelling light clove and banana throughout and leading to a wheat and vanilla-like finish with a touch of cereal and honey. Nice.

Draft at Bissell. Almost clear golden, some head. (American) bastard version of a hefeweizen. It does taste good, lots of citrus, American yeast strain, very restrained yeast, low malt level. Body is lean.
Side note: This is my 500th beer brewed in the state of Manie.
