750mL 2016 bottle shared by TJ on 12/9/17.
Immediately-fizzling, beige head. Clear, dark amber body.
Very sherry-rich nose has lots of grassy-vegetal character with tobacco and raisin alongside it. The Day of Doom very much comes through strongly and the Entropy barrels give the sherry. Little/no alcohol noted, which is impressive and seemingly well-aged with no oxidation or aggressive notes.
Soft and malty in the mouth, it's full of raisin, caramel and good acidity from the barrel and yeast. Not very boozy for its age and abv. Little/no carbonation concentrates the sugar, but it never threatens to cloy. Very nice stuff. This Day of Doom BA series seems like it's a prime candidate for aging.

Chalumeaux shares a 750 ml bottle and collected all the variations. Early 2016 release. Thanks for this! Really great aroma, charred oak, vanilla, toasted grain, coconut.
The flavor is is subtle whiskey with a lot of nuances. Toasted oak, plums, vanilla, good lasting oak finish.

A deep dark brown ale with a thin à very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, candy sugar, light curacao, coriander, light perfumy notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light vanilla, alcohol warmth, light licorice, nice and smooth. Bottle at Sébastiens birthday party, April 14 2018.

From a bottle at the EBF Saturday Barrel aged day of Doom. Rich sweet fruity quad with a great barrel treatment.
