Pours a hazy straw/yellow from a can. Rather big fruit aroma, primarily tropical fruits (think mango, papaya) with some sweet citrus (navel orange, perhaps tangerine). Similar flavor, a little bitter but well-balanced. Pretty good beer.

Dark yellow color with an alcohol and grapefruit aroma. Taste is heavy on hop bitterness, very little sweetness from malt. Bitter hoppy aftertaste.

Taster pour in flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with good retention and attractive leggy lacing. Aroma is sweet fruit--bordering on candied--and cracker malt background. Taste is sweet fruit (yogurty apricot, berry, melon), candied fruit, and sweet malts. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a strong IPA along the berry-melon line (vs. citrus-grapefruit) that works together well.

Draught at Picco, 0/19/17.
Moderately hazy, lime-tinted, bronze-golden with a small, moderately-well-retained white head atop.
Lemon-lime and mango in the nose mixes with strong pine from the mosaic. Deep, earthy, green dank character sits in the background, almost minty-like. Malts are very sparse and show just a touch of biscuit. Alcohol well-concealed. While the Idaho 7 adds a bit of an extra layer of complexity. the Citra-Mosaic is just so boringly full of pine and grapefruit and it comes off like most of CIB's other hoppy offerings, yet again.
In the mouth it's fairly soft, with pine, grapefruit, peach and mango providing mostly bright flavors, though it gains a good amount of both bitterness and light resin, along with plentiful spice and lush greenery. Low alcohol with a soft, fairly sweet base malt character behind it and moderately peppery carbonation.

16 oz. can purchased at Julio's Liquors. Canning date of 11-1-2017. Particles of hazy floating in a golden liquid. Aroma is tropical fruit, mangos, sweet malt, mild florals. The flavor starts with fruit and becomes sweet in the center. Citrus and tropical notes are pleasing. Bright fruit turns into a mild herbal hint in the finish.

Body is medium as shows light alcohol after the swallow. Soft mouthfeel with a mellow carbonation. Overall, mostly above average and rather tasty.
