Draught at the brewery, 9/6/17.
Brassy-golden, quite pale with a moderate haze at best. White head atop is small, showing moderate-to-low retention.
Leafy, green, fresh PNW-like hop notes galore show off cherry, grapefruit, melon, dank, spicy greenery and classic orange peel. Malts below it offer up a touch of honey but remain mostly sparse and out of the way. A hint of pine lies on the end, sharpening things a tad, but it's pretty innocuous, for the most part.
Pine and grapefruit mix well together and are quite a bit better than in most cases, probably owing to the low boil time of them here. Juicy citrus notes abound, as well, with a soft, malty texture and good attenuation and carbonation. Pretty West Coasty, well-executed DIPA on the lighter side of things. Pine and grapefruit build up somewhat over the course of the glass, but it's mostly tolerable.

Cloudy. Thin head, light amber. More of a fruitier, spicier hop nose. Sweet malts, the hops just being gentle, touch of alcohol in the finish.
