Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Corn and sour malt aromas. Sharp with sour corn front to back.

Taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is pretty clear, bright golden, highlighter yellow, no sparkle, small cap of white head with light lacing. Aroma is traditional mix of malt and yeast. Taste is strong cracker malt with a tinge of a fruity--maybe banana?--flavor, yeast. Palate light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation with finish as taste. Overall, not my favorite style but this had a little unique twist that I liked this quite a bit. Maybe that means those looking for traditional Kolsch will be disappointed, though early reviews suggest otherwise.

16 oz. can purchased at Greg & Jane's. Near crystal clear gold appearance with a thin white head. Aroma is honey grains, yeast. Body is light with a noticeable bready malt. Yeast is mild, mostly honey malt and bread.

Draught at the brewery, 7/30/17.
Clear, sparkling gold with a hint of copper. White head atop is small and sits at cover.
Lemon and tangerine sit in the background as fruity esters add softer apple and strawberry. Light cereal and biscuit provide good balance. Light mineral/fresh yeast lingers on the finish with more citrus brightness from the hops. Clean, no alcohol.
Clean, crisp, dry and with a solid malt backbone featuring light honey and grainy biscuit/cracker. Tons of fruitiness and a lot more citric hop character than in any kolsch I can remember. But no matter, it's still an excellently-done, crisp, refreshing, balanced beer. Moderate, engaging carbonation and clean with no alcohol.

On tap at N.E. Tap House Grille Light yellow in color with a thin bubbly white head that may have been larger before the beer got to my table. rich bready pilsner maltiness with bits of earthy floral hops and some light fruity notes to counter. Clean well made Kolsch. I’m pretty impressed really.
