Draught at Worden Hall, 7/6/17.
Fully hazy, though not soupy, straw-golden with white gold tints and a small but dense and well-retained, white head.
Very fruity with mango and light guava playing off of lime and meyer lemon. Great balance of tropical and citrus and nothing punchy or intense at all. Quite "subtle" if you could ever call Austra-NZ hops subtle. Perhaps there’s some Nelson or Galaxy in there? Whatever the case, there’s a soft wheat backing that adds gentle biscuit and a bit of general blandness that kind of works towards creating this more gentle, subtle aroma, whether intended or not. No alcohol or flaw and none of the awful compound that ruined all three of the beers I had of theirs two weeks ago.
Soft, very dry and with a heavy wheat-laden texture that slowly allows dry pineapple and tangerine note to emerge, gaining strength as the beer warms. Lime, red grapefruit and mango are picked up as well, though it never gets intensely juicy or overly hoppy. Low bitterness with touches of light honey from the malt and a very tight carbonation. No resin, alcohol, or flaw. Lovely stuff.

Growlette share with Henry.
We both poured into becher pint glasses.
The appearance was a pale dark pear skin color with a fingers worth of cream colored head. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some strong bready crisp malts flowing over some fruity punchy bitter hops.
The flavor had some sweetness coming across in the fruity hops. Some sweet oats/grains and then red grapes. Aftertaste was reminiscent of grape juice with sweet wheat or oats. Finish was super drying.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, its alright, not exactly sure what Fiddlehead was going for with this, but hey, it might be better with some food.
