750mL counter-pressure filled bottle, filled 12/22, drunk 12/29/18.
Clear peach-amber with a large, off-white head showing good retention.
Fruity yeast and hops combine to produce cherry, strawberry, apple, nectarine and marmalade-like notes with honey, whitebread and light biscuit from the malt balancing easily. A touch of acidity and some dryness from the caramel malt, but quite easygoing. Lingering barley/cereal/toast character with gentle orange-like notes and no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's soft, malty, lightly sweet with honey and very light caramel balancing gentle citrus and herbal notes. Tight carbonation and a very supple, soft, malty texture with tight carbonation and good attenuation. Clean and very well-brewed with a crisp, grain and acidity combo on the finish that keeps it quenching and drinkable.
