Sample at Churchkey. Looks like pulp. Some legs too. Nose is a little odd, stone fruits and over ripe tropicals. Smells big. Flavor has peach and melon and papaya. Glass was a bit warm and I think that left me feeling all of the booze. A pinch overdone.

Sampled from the tap at 7 Monks. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has mango and slightly bitter citrus with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has bitter citrus and light mango with sweet grains and a bit of grapefruit in the finish.

16 ounce can from Libby’s Liquor’s. Cloudy orange gold color. Fluffy white head is finger-high. Fragrant aromas of orange and mango. Flavor is zesty citrus and stonefruit. Notes of tangerine, mango and apricot. Some booziness in middle. Dry, bitter finish.

16 oz can from Half Time, 7/13/24. Have yellowish color, white head. Grainy and fruity. Bit of grapefruit. Malty backbone. Decent, not loving this one.

Flavor upfront shows mango, tangerine rind. Mild pine and pine resin is in the finish. As it warms the resin comes forward a lot more. Don’t get me wrong, well-made just a bit more pine resin then I personally prefer.

Can (11/15/22) pour from Candia First Stoppe Country Store. It's a cloudy dark yellow-light brown with light sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with excellent retention and fair lacing. Aroma is strong apricot and pineapple. Taste is strong apricot, pineapple, pine. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering dry bitterness. Overall, a tale of two halves--first half Double Hazy NEIPA, second half West Coast DIPA. Not sure they were going for a hybrid East-West, and not sure I love it, but rarely have I tasted both so distinctly. Interesting.

Brewery draught, 12/16/22. Heavily hazy, peachy-golden-maize. White head quickly recedes to spotty cover. That's pretty twangy in the nose with bits of pine, unripe papaya and punchy pineapple. Just too much twangy tropical fruit with acidity exacerbated by pithy citrus and light resin. Flavor follows, quickly fatiguing the palate. Was done with it after two sips and dumped it in the bathroom.

Pours hazy light gold into a stein. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Kiwi, apricot and peach aromas. Thick with melon, kiwi and apricot front to back. Medium length tangerine and lychee finish.
