Can pour from The Liquor Junction, Reading. Opaque, dark brown with ring of head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted peanuts, hazelnut, milder cacao. Taste is strong roasted nut (bordering on burnt, burnt French peanut?, hazelnut) and milder cacao. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nut is a bit burnt in flavor and somewhat confusing peanut vs. hazelnut but still enjoyable.

16 oz can in a trade tfontana, ty Tom. Aroma is soft chocolate with hazelnut. Flavor is more Nutella than it is Reese’s peanut butter cup. Mouthfeel is decent for a porter. I get more cacao nib than I get anything else.

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. Ebony. Tan head Big peanut butter nose and flavor. But nowhere near enough texture. Dry, thinned out. But definitely super peanuty.

Pours mahogany tinged deep brown into a tulip. Tan head with good retention recedes leaving spidery sheets. Chocolate and peanut butter aromas. Medium bodied with hazelnut and sour, boiled peanuts upfront turning to bitter nut skins and shells before the lasting earthy chocolate mocha finish.
