#1 Hit Jam is both familiar and unique. It combines the flavor and consistency of a berry smoothie with tart lemon and vinous character of red wine. Smells like a cherry Tootsie Pop and tastes of sangria. We hope you enjoy.
We would like to thank our friend Max Hogsdon (Vader the Villian) for once again sharing his incredible talents with us. This label is astounding.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to the dome, jk.
Can to a tulip.
Appearance: nice looking purple hazy color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which inwardly dissipated and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: raspberries - yes, blackberries - yes, black currants - I believe so though I first thought it was the blackberries, now I get it, so everything is there then some light lemony to freshly cut grassy tones with subtle vinous character
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a tart and sweet quality, super light sour far underneath. Light finish of the raspberries, blackberries and black currants
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper, clean tart harshness on the tongue while it still has a certain smoothness to it.
Overall: a very nicely done fruited sour ale I would love to have again.

Canned 9/7/22, drunk 9/29/22. Thick mixed berry, fleeting head. Cloudy. Berries, sure, but alcohol, of course. But its not hot/sharp/noxious. Peppery, really. With big berries. Soft malts behind, slightly timid but getting a little bit sweeter on the end. Sweet, raspberry-strong, with bright fruit acids and soft malts. No overt alcohol but it is sangria-like in its higher alcohol and fruit character. I mean, it's not boozey, but you still feel the alcohol. But it still feels pretty interrupted by the alcohol.

4 oz. draft. The berries are bold and have a lingering tartness that never becomes sour. All 3 berries are here. This is 11 %?!? No way, never would have known it. A wonderful sour!

16oz can pours a pulpy purple, little fizz, basically no head. Big jammy nose, blueberry and strawberry, some lemon or orange rind. Flavor is smoothie, berries, strawberry and raspberry. Finishes reasonably thick, but hides 11% real well.
