Ambery brown colour with a tiny head. Aroma is chocolate syrup, some rye, mild toasted tones with a bit of wood and some alcohol sweetness. Flavour is caramel, some chocolate syrup, mild toasted tones with some slight alcohol and a bit spicy and wooden elements too.

Bottled. Black, small head. Woody treacle aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle, licorice, port and whiskey. Really woody with coffee and syrup. Warming bitter finish.

2021 500mL bottle 625/2000, shared by TJ on 5/7/23. Big ol whiskey and quite a bit of apple brandy. Very spicey, peppery, fruity. Very malty as well. Almost port-like. Vanilla, caramel, grape, apple, black pepper. It's big, it's sweet, it's rather forceful. Interesting barrel character, but just too much of all of it for me personally.

500 ml bottle. 2021 Numbered bottle shared by Chalumeaux. Thank you TJ!! Aroma shows me spices, black pepper, soft brandy, toffee. Flavor is a reflection of the aroma. Mild alcohol in the finish but the flavor is insanely great! Awesome barrel treatments.

I had two bottles of this and they were quite different. This review is for the better one. Pours clear mahogany, small beige head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, brown sugar, vanilla, cocoa. Full sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body.
