Bottle split at the last minute CBJ Tasting (big thanks Marcin for hosting), cheers to Leighton for this one, 13/07/23. Chestnut brown with a decent beige head. Nose is earthy dried fruits, toffee, dates, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises umami, dates, figs, light oxidisation, fruit cake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... sat on too long and getting a little knackered!

Bottle shared in London. Pours clear russet with a creamy, off white head. Great condition. Medium sweet flavour with toasted malts, ample oxidation, dried toffee, old leaves, leather, earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more sturdy oxidation, toasted malts, leafy hops. So so.

Very hazy deep amber - Brown beer, good cream colour head. Airy palete, mildly dry and with decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a little cream. Mildly spicy caramel and some biscuit. Mike tang. A little ripe orange. Some punchy dried fruits on the smooth finish. Tasty enough.

Bottle sourced from Good Taste Food and Drink, Crystal Palace, London shared with the Fam/Steatham (29/08/2016) - dark cloudy amber brown pour with off-white head. Sweet malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, light earthy, some subdued dark fruit nuances, not bad but not sure what it is, slightly plain and not doing much for me.
