Brewed in collaboration with The Monastery of St Francis & Gorton Trust to celebrate their 21st Birthday. This deep copper Dubbel is brewed with a blend of Belgian Ale Yeasts to create a subtly spicy finish whilst allowing raisins, rich caramelised sugar and dried stone fruits to sit front and center.

500ml bottle from Chez Sophie. Pours a nice hazed mahogany, small pale tan head. Aroma grainy, fruity, toffee. Taste is is smooth fruitcake, brown bread, moderately sweet yeast, emerging spice, toffee, distant liquorice. Quite smooth, and light even. Not bad.

Keg at the marble arch inn. A hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is jammy fruits, woody bark, Biscuity malts. Flavour is composed of dark brown sugars, plum and tangy bark, liquorice, Belgian yeast and apricot jam. Decent. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Decent. 3.3

Keg at Tilt. A hazed amber golden coloured pour with a sticky off white head. Aroma is harsh grainy wood, earthy malts, raisin. Flavour is composed of grainy, nutty malts, lemon notes, some belgian bubble gum yeast,jammy fruits. .

Keg at Tilt, Bingoham Zentrum, 20/05/17. Clear golden amber with decent off white headgear. Nose is light yeast scattering, toffee, spice, fruit loaf. Taste comprises raisins, toffee, figs, brown bread, sweet notes, light spice balanced. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for the style.

Keg at Tilt, Birmingham. It pours cloudy hazy amber wit ha medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, malt- driven, chewy malt, spice, bread and croissant. The taste is dry, chewy malt, toasted brown bread, resin, leather, light spice, tannin and black tea. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite nicely balanced. Decent.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy and brown with white foam. Aroma is caramel, malty and herbaceous. Body is medium. Taste is rich in both sweetness and bitterness, though the latter is dominant. Finish is long.

Keg at Tilt - Brum. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has toasted bread, a little caramel and yeast. Medium sweet flavour, some dried berries, light booze. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Neatly balanced finish, lightly toasted bread, a little grainy note, low bitterness. Enjoyable beer.
