Triangular Nature is a country beer brewed with a generous portion of raw buckwheat sourced from our neighbors. Fermented with a mixed culture and briefly ripened in oak casks to yield a dry beer of a deep golden hue.

750ml bottle at a share. Pours a murky orange. Wheat and grain and sherry. Balanced. The non traditional grain is clear, though I'm not sure it screams buckwheat (how could it?). Easy drinker too. 7 4 7 4 13

Post Pigs Ear Party at Chez Smith. Thanks to our host. Almost clear gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Light semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, lightly sweet. Tangy to sour lemon - orange - tangerine. Just a trace of acid. Little floralness. Some tangerine sherbet. Light semi dry finish. Pleasantly sour.

Bottle split at and thanks to Leighton, 05/12/17. Lightly hazed pale golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is on the turn melon, funk, stale bread, grains, citric drizzle, vanilla. Taste comprises lime, herbal bite, straw, yeast esters, damp wood, brett notes, funky vibes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic ripple. Decent saison.
