This mango-infused pale ale begins with a subtle tropical aroma of passion fruit and mango. Golden-copper in color, it has a light body, slight hop bitterness, and malty sweetness, and finishes with a kiss of mango.

Draft at Icebox on the Hudson. Clear golden pour, thin white head, minimal lace. Aroma is straight up mango. Sweet. Can't really find much hops or alcohol here. I love mango, but this is to sweet for me. Sticky mouthfeel. Somewhere between beer and alcopop. Not my thing now, but I'm sure 13 yr old me would probably have loved it.

Part of their Summer Vacation mixed pack, purchased in Vermont. Pours a light clean amber colour with a warm cap, good retention and some foamy lace. Tropical fruit aromas with the sweet mango giving apricot notes. The taste has the same fruit notes, but less sweet and strong, blended with the hops of a Pale Ale. Still, gets a little rich in the end. For those who like the St-Ambroise Apricot... even though this is mango.

Bottle; think from Wine Warehouse. Pours golden with a large white head. Heavy mango aroma - it’s really out there: bright and sweet and in your face. Minor grasses behind it. Taste is mango, citrus hops, grass, white bread. Not nearly as flavorful as the aroma, but it’s fine.

Peach and mango nose. Clear amber, thin head. Perfumey artificial mango, green leaves. Light body, easy carbonation.

On tap at Jacob Wirth pours a clear orange with lots of frothy, white head. Nose is OK, some mango, some malt, some flowers, some grass. Flavor is a little gross with candy and flabby malt/honey, some grass. Slick finish. Needs more bittering to round it out.

Draft at Stephi’s on Tremont, Boston, MA. Clear deep gold with a white head. Aroma of mango, tropical fruits, and caramel malt. Taste is mango, tropical fruit, caramel malt and is quite resinous. Something about the taste was off. Wouldn’t want to drink this one again.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant bright golden color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bitter with grapefruit, lemon, mango and orange notes. The flavor was bitter and tart with elements of grapefruit, lemon, orange and mango. Long finish. Medium body. Solid.

Pours a golden honey color from a bottle, big tropical fruit aroma doesn’t follow through to the flavor, somewhat sweet malty. Not picking up on mango in particular. Okay beer.
