Sample at the brewpub. Clear pale straw-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, biscuit malt and hops. Light body with flavors of bready malt, fruit and grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter and thin with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Below average overall.

Tap at Brewpub this is part of the sampler and you have no choice in the matter. Pours a very unattractive pale yellow. taste of some grain, mash, light bitters, hay, and maybe floral note. very watery.

A golden kolsch with a very thin white head. A rather lager chalky malt aroma. In mouth, very mineral and crisp malt with German hops. Not that skinny for a light (although I later found that skinny atlas is the correct pronunciation of Skaneateles, which means Long Lake in Iroquois). On tap at brewpub, July 31, 2009.

I certainly wouldnt agree with might as well drink genny. This isnt an offensive beer. Granted theres nothing special, a decent light beer. I think the medals speak alot for it. Not much taste obviously, but it does what it aims at doing.
