Admiration IPA was brewed as a tribute to the farmers, the brewers, and all the elements that give us the best ingredients and processes in which to create our product. A rich malt backbone supports an intense hop character of earthy pine and citrus derived from massive amounts of Centennial, Cascade and Chinook hops. Well balanced, yet intense, this dry-hopped IPA pays homage to its origins.

Bottle from Albertsons. Medium amber, caramel color, small frothy head fades. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel. Taste follows with more caramel malts, light sweetness, a tad dry, bitterness a mere after thought. A nod to the English style.

Almost clear amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light dry malts, very modest sweetness, touch of grain. Orange peel, ripe orange and a touch of tangerine. Light finish. Tangy orange peel linger. Feels tired as have a couple of other IPAs picked up at GBBF.

Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting off white head. Diacetyl. Toffee aroma. Some bitterness on the finish. Some grapefruit hop. Butter toffee aroma. Not my thing. Do I drink it or do I drain pour? Nope I can’t drink this the aroma is too awful. Rest of the beer is fine.
