ØL Spelt er en lys ale med en lettere sødlig og krydret aroma. Fra Danmarks nye mikromalteri Gyrup, som ligger i det sydlige Thy, har vi brugt ristet og lys bygmalt samt hvede- og speltmalt.
Økologisk Cascade humle og belgisk gær tilfører ØL Spelt yderligere kompleksitet, og resultatet er en både letdrikkelig og spændende øl, der egner sig godt til ikke for kraftigt mad.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 12.04.18. Translucent golden. Diminishing white head. Aroma of witbier, wheat, coriander and curacao orange peel. Similar taste.

Shared 630 ml bottle at local tasting. Golden colour, white head. Nice fruity aroma, also herbal hops. Refreshing and medium dry flavour, notes of spicy yeast (cloves) and herbal hops.

0,63 flaske fra Føtex Nørrebro, delt på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen, april-18: lett uklar gylden med tett skum som varer. Krydret aroma med blomster, stall, støv og urter. Syrlligfrisk og ganske slank smak med urter, banan, pors og blomster. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken.

Bottle 630ml. @ home. [ As Thisted Gyrup Gård Øl Spelt ].ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, spelt - spelled - spelled wheat, pale malt, grain, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, wheat - spelt - spelled, grain, pale malt, sweet malt, tart fruit - sour malt - tart malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180329] 5-3-5-3-11
