Our Pumpkin Lager is one of the few pumpkin lagers available in the world. Real pumpkin and pie spice join Munich and caramel malts in our brewhouse, then lager for four weeks in our cellar, and come together with all the flavors of a lush pumpkin pie. Available August–October.

From notes. Another solid offering from lakefront. You can taste the actual pumpkin a lot more in this beer, unlike some others where it is mostly pumpkin pie spices and cinnamon. Easy drinking and great for the cold October nights.

Bottle. Sweet pumpkin malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger aroma. Hazy dark honey gold with a small quickly dissipating off-white head. Malty pumpkin, and the same spice flavors found in the nose. Medium body and carbonation. I’ve recently had several over-the-top horrible pumpkin ales, so it was nice to enjoy this simple, solid pumpkin beer.

Taster at Kenwood Liquors. Dry and spicy in nose and palate. Pleasant beer. Color is slightly dark copper, nearly brown. I got more of the pie spice than any pumpkin pie. But this still would work for me as a pre-dessert beer.

Bottle from Bierkraft, Brooklyn, NY. An orange coloured pour with a medium off white head. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon. Tastes of pumpkin, cinnamon, spice. Very easy to drink.

In my little hd mug. Pour is like pale lager but with a touch of haze and perhaps even a little darker. Smell is sugar pumpkin. Stronger somewhat rude personality. Does not hide alky well. Malty and sumthin going on here. Reminds me of some stronger aged high gravity beers. Almost irish in nature. Pumpkin is not pleasing in this brew. On style for a veggie spice brew. Does not have the texture of pumpkin pie, heheh

12 oz bottle from Total Beverage - Westminster. Nose is heavy on pumkin with light nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. Crystal clear orange with a big pale yellowish head. Flavor is pumpkin pie with all the spices. Nice quaffable pumkin lager.

Slightly hazy copper tinted body with an orange tint and a very thin off-white head. Aroma of pungent spice and squash note with allspice and cloves coming through, a touch of malt and some nice brown sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Nice full spice flavour with a good sweetness, some light pit fruits, a touch of malt and a little earthiness. Aftertaste shows good spice tastes, a strong squash and pumpkin full-bodied taste and a good sweetness. Overall, surprisingly good with a nice complex flavour that shows very well for the season. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 04-September-2011 for US$1.35 sampled at home in Washington on 12-September-2011.

Aroma: The nose is dominated by the pumpkin spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon
Appearance: It pours into the glass a clear caramel-orange color without much head
Flavor: The taste also has quite a bit of spice, it is much like the nose, not much else going on here
Palate: It is light-medium bodied, with a lasting spice that tingles on the tongue after the beer dissipates
Overall Impression: This one is one-dimensional, but I like that dimension. This is what you should be expecting when you buy a Pumpkin beer, and it is well executed. I'm a pumpkin beer fan in general, and though this isn't a perfect beer, I found it to be well executed and enjoyable on a nice fall afternoon watching football.

The first time I had this was at the brewery and thought it was fantastic. Its been about a year since then and I picked this up in bottle form from Woodman’s in Madison, WI. It’s much more clear and thin than I remember, I would be lying if I said I was fulfilled. Smells of semi stale pumpkin, tastes like a light pumpkin beer, so I guess it does its purpose. I won’t go rushing back for another six pack, but if I’m at the brewery and it’s on tap I’ll definitely have it again.

Bottle. Poured an orangish amber with minimal head. Aroma is full of pumpkin notes with a sugar sweet undertone. Flavor begins pumpkin, but sweet flavors tend to over power by the finish. Not bad as pumpkin beers go.
