West Coast IPAs differ from NEIPAs but still are all about the hops! WCIPA leans to a clearer straw-to-gold color with some low chill or hop haze levels. The hop characteristics dominate the aroma, exhibiting a wide range of attributes, including floral, piney, citrus, fruity, tropical, resinous, and many others. Our version of WCIPA has a medium bitterness within the style but is not harsh. The body is low to medium, and these beers are highly attenuated with an assertive hop character and a dry, crisp, clean finish.

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Berkel-Enschot Netherlands. Had this at home Sunday 9th February 2025 listening to a Tom Robinson on 6Music. Pours gold with a light haze and fast disappearing white head. Nice IPA, West Coast mmhhhhh.... could show more bitterness, lacks some of those trademark West Coast traits, resinous? nope....big malty backbone? Mmhhhhh nope .,... However it's fine

Tip Tap draught, 1/31/25.
Lightly hazy, pale lemon-brass-golden. Small, white head steadily to partial cover.
At first it's very floral, soapy, even. This somewhat subsides over time, but the nose never gets too interesting to me. Lots of cracker, bitter citrus rind and heavy floral notes.
In the mouth it fares better, I think. Interludes of light citrus juice, though never more than sparsely malted with heavy cracker and biscuit. Some stone fruit, interesting pine and, importantly, no toast or resin.

C hop. Pine and caramel. Clean bitter finish, nothing remarkable, but solid

12 Oz can from The Beers of America, drank at home on 26th April 2024, mini-tasting with myself! Almost clear golden orange body, neat white crown. Piney, fruity and a fine IPA all round.
