Handpull cask at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham on 2 March 2024. A meddled cloudy-ish brown colour. Chocolate malt aroma, just a little bit of mint. Tastes sweet, a bit like an alcoholic Ovaltine with more mint than the aroma but still not enough. I understand that this beer is a reworking of their seasonal beer Bah Humduck (q.v.), which I quite liked as the peppermint was more forward. This beer is a bit of a muddle. Still passable but wouldn’t have another.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Old Joint Stock on 4th March 2024. Black bodied, tanned foam on top. I was expecting a strong Peppermint Aero aroma and taste, but sadly this didn't have the punch or oomph to deliver such a smell or flavour, all a bit underwhelming I'm sorry to say.
