Keg at GBBF 25. Dark brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma has molasses and malts sweetness before a mocha bitterness sweeps through. Combines coffee bitterness with tangy berries. Herbal bitterness also. Medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good stuff.

440ml can at the Allison Arms, Glasgow. Dark, almost black, almost opaque. Coffee, treacle, Marmite on the nose. Taste is sweet with syrupy coffee and a bitvof 9ak. A bit artificial but still very nice. Coffee grounds bitterness in the finish. Excellent stuff.

440ml can from KWM Wines: BB 4th November 2024. Drank at home on Sunday 4th February 2024. Went down very well with some strong 'Red Leicester' cheese, chili gherkins and salty biscuits. Black bodied, tanned affair on top. Malty and nice, good body depth and a pleasant ABV that suits the beer. Leaning towards the sweeter end of Stoutness.

440ml can. Thick and black with a moderate off white head. Chocolate and caramel aroma, flavour is similar with boozy notes, presumably from the barrel aging, which bring surprising complexity for a relatively low ABV. Thick, sticky mouth feel, all in all rather excellent
