Quick turn around ale modelled after a Schwarzbier. A malt forward nose with a hint of roastiness and a dark colour with a clear appearance. A high carbonation level will give this a lively palate, fresh yet still smooth and drinkable.

Pours a clean brown with fluffy beige head. Aroma has a roasted malt, with light coffee, some dustiness, quite sweet. Taste hast that roasty element with caramel, coffee, buttercream. Moderate bitterness with some light spice notes. Near mid bodied, slick with a soft high frothy carbonation. Session strength, balanced and flavoursome - my kind of beer.

330ml can via Beer52; BBE March 2025, drank at home on 21st December 2023. Very dark brown, decent beige head. Roasted/toasted malty front with a coffee hint or two, semi-sweet with a mini hop bitterness towards the finish. Better than I expected to be honest.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown pour with a fast fading white head; malty aroma; sweet malty taste; and a light roasted grain bitterness. Quite refreshing.

Can from Beer52. It pours pretty much black with a medium khaki head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, charred vibes, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, espresso, chocolate covered coffee beans and praline. The taste is firmly dry, crispy, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, charred malt, burnt toast, cacao nibs, toasted spice and a touch of umami/liquorice with a dark roasted finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Decent, easy chugging schwarzbier.
