Can from Tescos, Amersham. Poured a murky medium brown with a broken off white head. The aroma is smoky roast malt, skunky yeast, light dry coffee, light hop. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a dry roasty, liquorice yeast, light fruit, dry spicy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

33cl can from Tesco, Warfield. A gloosy pitch black pour with a thin beige head; strong coffee aroma; smooth in the mouth with a sweet fruity taste to start, then becoming drier as the coffee emerges to give a lasting finish with more dried fruit and a touch of chocoalte. A very nice stout.

330ml can from Tesco. Pours cola black, no remaining head at all. Aroma has good coffee roast. Taste presents coffee, cola, sweet dark malts, some faint dark treacle, dark fruits a little oily on the palate. Ok coffee stout.

Can from Tesco, Rickmansworth, Herts. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, coffee, chocolate aroma. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, slight cola in there too. It is reasonable but probably wouldn’t drink it again.

Can from Tesco and drunk at home. Dark brown colour black, lasting tan head. Yes dark chocolate and some espresso. Quite smooth. Rather a tasty stout, a bit over carbonated, some dark fruits. OK.
