Canned from department of beer and wine. Oatmeal malt dark chocolat coffee, pretty flavorful

Nitro sample is a thick black with some creamy beige head. Nice nose, toast and smoke and oats and coffee. Flavor is malt and oat and smoke and coffee grounds. Creamy finish. Easy drinker. Nice.

Undated can, fresh from the brewery, drunk 12/6/23. Rapidly-fizzling head is weird. Tan, atop a dark brown body that appears to be clear. Straightforward, oatmeal stout-like nose shows a good mix of fruity yeast, chocolate, peanut and light roast. Clean. Somewhat biting carbonation, pursuant to the fizzling head. Not sure what that signifies, but it's a fairly common occurrence in canned beer. Beer seems no more the worse for it, though, with a good malty texture and true flavors of soy, caramel, light roast, peanut and chocolate. Oatmeal does help soften things. Good fruitiness and acidity on the finish. Clean and no alcohol noted. Lots of flavor for its size. If they could work out that carbonation, this would be top notch.

Here's to another trip around the sun. Chocolate, vanilla, roasty malt. Nice earthy notes. Great aipper.

16 oz. can. Deep brown in color. Aroma has mild vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is moderate vanilla, soft chocolate, good mouthfeel for the low ABV. Bold earth malt characteristics linger after the sip.

On tap at Barreled Souls, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out hearty oats, medium roast and light earthy bitterness. Flavour is along the same lines, with hearty oats, light espresso and some earthiness. Hearty and nicely designed. Very good.
