Pounder from my Secret Santa! Mojito glass @home. Clear, pale gold & slightly dusty pour. Thick, tall, pillow-y head. Rye & citra nose. Black pepper crackers, mineral water, lemon & mellow un-ripe citrus. I don't get funk yet. Earthy, bitter skin, pedestrian farm funk, dry cheddar, grassy, lemon mineral water, nutty oxidation, slightly sharp & dank finish. It tastes like Sorachi but isn't. Frothy, consistently strong carb, acidic hops, alcohol is a bit stiff. Smelled amazing & a bit better than it tasted. Liked.

Canned 9/21/23, drunk 11/22/23. Clear, lemony-brass-golden. Massive, off-white head, well-retained. Beautiful, beautiful, Blaugies-esque nose with sweat, funk, heavy mineral, very light stone fruit and some mineral from the hop, as well. Almost no hop, maybe just a shade of citrus from citra and hints of wood that meld with the yeast from the amarillo. Clean and bright. Soft, farmy, funky, with big mineral and a pinch of stone fruit. Big black pepper, and soft, biscuity, honey-like malts that are very well-attenuated. Spicy phenols galore. Can't believe how well-integrated the hops are. I would never guess either of these hops here, except that more bitter grassiness comes out on the finish than I'd like. The yeast just dominates. Hell yeah!
