Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Mitch. Pours unclear gold with a creamy topping. The nose has bready malts, crackers, honey, ripening citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with more honey, crackers, orange peel. Pretty good stuff.

Hazy amber beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is smooth and dry, reasonable carbonation. Very sweet creamy malts and some jarring smoke. Sweet floralness, Mild spice. Citric peel. Light dry bitterish finish. A bit sweet and simple and I don’t want smoke in me barleywine!

On tap at the Stoneworks Peterborough. Rich Amber colour with a big white head. Big fruity citrus and pine aroma. Light easy to drink taste that is mid sweet, the sweetness builds to the finish. Nice.
