The Italian translation of this name is ‘beautiful lake’, which captures our inspiration for this Italian Style Pilsner. Dry hopped with a blend of noble & American hops, the pilsner is brite and hoppy with an assertive bitterness and dry finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely but barely left any lace
Aroma: lemon to floral & herbal hop notes with a little bit of a snappy and bright sweet grassy hop whiff in the middle; low key cracker malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to snappy floral quality with a light herbal tone underneath; finishes semi-crisp, herbal and floral
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness to it and a touch of floral to herbal hop assertiveness, some dryness
Overall: wow - an Italian styled pilsener that wasn't oily in the aroma or texture. Was it the dry hopping in this? Hmmmm...well, I would come back to this but now I'm looking at some other brewers on what they "might" be doing wrong, or is this wrong? hmmm...somewhat left scratching my beard...so many questions in my head.

16 oz can from Wegmans-Woodbridge, 12/20/24. It pours a mostly clear golden color with a white head, and streaky, drippy lace. Lemon-lime, grass, a little spice. Grainy, dry finish. Easy drinking. Tingly mouthfeel. A touch thin, but solid overall. Always like a beer with Bella in the name, so bonus points for that. 7/4/7/3/15

Can from Wegman's. Bright medium gold, slightly hazy, with a tall head. Big, floral hop nose, fruity and flowery, with passionfruit, elderflower, and a touch of jasmine. Light honey malts. Rich, fruity hop flavor, crackery malts, spicy and herbal hops. Crisp, peppery finish. Snappy and crisp. Hits the spot.

Casey's Pub draught, 9/3/23 Clear golden, small head. Nose is a bit faint but still moderately hoppy with floral, fruity, peppery suggestions and some cracker and white bread like malt. Clean. Dry, moderately hoppy with low bitterness, some apple and papery cracker malt. Quenching, though and clean.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Just a very light haze on this pale gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is very light, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light and pretty sweet lager malts. Some lager tang. Sweet floral hops, very floral. Light finish. A tad over floral and sweet this lager, nothing unpleasant, just needs some bite.
