Cask at Christian Firtal. Hazy golden with a big white head. Grassy and herbal hop aroma. Grassy and herbal flavour as well, with more than a hint of nettles. Slightly thin, with only a hint of malt character. Good bitterness

Gravicask at the Sun Inn, Kelvedon for their bank holiday weekend beer fest. Pale gold beer, not much of a head. Low carbonation. Smooth semi dry palate. The hops are juicy and mildy marmalade. Fresh. Standard golden ale but done well.

Cask gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Good nelson sauvin type hops with good sauvignon blanc type flavours, some lime, a little light in the mouth on the malts but then a good dry finish.

(Cask at Castle, Chancery Lane, London, 19 May 2010) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit and grassy hops. Slightly thin body, balanced sweetness. Generous citrussy, grassy bitterness as expected from this brewer. Refreshing and very Crouch Valeish.

LIVE RATING. Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 22nd May 2010. Gold with thin decaying off white head. Strong hoppiness, almost like Dark Star Hophead, pleasant soft citric fruit late on, with a fruit and hop blend at the long-lasting finish. Smooth lightly textured mouthfeel.

Pale golden color, good white head. Honyeish, flowery nose. Starts with hard mouthfeel and quite watery, then nice hoppy bitterness. Long bitter aftertaste. Dry.

[Cask at Wenlock Arms, London] A dark orange beer with a very small white head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy, while the flavor is sweet and quite hoppy, I can’t tell which hop has been used, but I like it. And the flavor also has notes of oranges.
