Kor’ Dorgel is a fresh hoppy pale ale packed with zingy American hops, giving a tropical and citrus aroma and flavour. It has been developed in conjunction with the Basement restaurant in Padstow. Kor’ means ’beer’ and Dorgel means ’earth cell’ in old Cornish, so in English simply ’Basement Beer’.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Padstow Kor'Dorgel ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, malty, pale malt, sugary, biscuit malt. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20160809] 5-3-6-3-10

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light paleish malts, mild sweet. Light floral in to mold citrus and orange peel. Light finish. Clean and fruity, pleasant.

Cask at GBBF Saturday, 13/08/2016. A crystal clear pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head . Aroma is pale sweet grains floral citrus, hedgerow hop, delicate hop aromas. Flavour is composed of light grains straw, hay, floral hop notes, faint elderflower. Palate is light and easy going, mellow carbonation, soft. Good sessionable beer.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2016. Clear gold lasting white head. looks in good nick. Decent golden ale lightly hopped grassy. Very good condition. Some lemon. Some mineral.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2015. Lighter golden colour. Has a fair hop-malt balance. Quite potent with its hop in its aroma, although a touch skunky. Has a light bitterness alongside a light sweetness in taste.
