It is back for the first time since our lil’ round labels! Dreamed up in the distant past with our forever buddies @Omnipollo, Watermelon Milkshake IPA was brewed with all the oats, lactose and vanilla (not to mention the mountains of Citra and Mosaic that goes into each batch!) you’ve come to expect and love and then conditioned on hundreds of pounds of fresh and fruity watermelon puree.

Notes of watermelon Jolly Ranchers, sweet vanilla custard and citrus salad =)

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Pours milky yellow with a large head. The head dissolves pretty fast. Fruity aroma; citrus and watermelon. Juicy mouthfeel. Flavour is refreshing citrus and watermelon. Bitter finish with notes of alcohol. Very drinkable.

16 ounce can from Libby’s Liquors. Hazy yellow gold color. Large, dense, pillowy white head. Aroma of vanilla and watermelon. Flavor follows nose. More vanilla than watermelon. Some bitterness in finish. Pleasant and drinkable.

16 oz can shared by ClarkVV. Date of 05/26/23. Aroma is mild vanilla with soft watermelon. Watermelon does show pretty strongly. If they toned down the lactose this would be real good.

Can (5/6/23) pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's a cloudy light yellow with ring of off-white head. Aroma is strong citrus and stone fruits, mild vegetal, watermelon. Taste is strong lactose, citrus, watermelon, mild vanilla. Mouthfeel is smooth bodied and soft carbonation. Overall, lactose a bit strong in the taste. Watermelon is present so at least the reason for being is present.

Canned 5/26/23, drunk 7/22/23. Lightly hazy, pale golden brass. White head to ring quickly. Smells like lactose and malty don't get any watermelon. Vanilla is light and it's clean. Oh boy that's lactose. But at least I do get the watermelon which is light, flavorful and fruity. soft, sweet, not too much so. It's got appropriate bitterness but maybe it's the age but it's too sweet and vanilla forward. But the watermelon interludes are nice.
