500 ml. Bottle. 2021 vintage. Aroma is soft, rum, vanilla and chocolate nuances. Flavor follows with very light booze in the finish. I don’t find any sugar, but the vanilla seems more like extract. I could forgive that if it wasn’t for the booze. I pair this with a few pieces of premium chocolate. Was able to drink 3/4 the bottle solo Dome.

2021 bottle from shelf, drunk 7/7/23. Clear dark mahogany. Light tan head slowly to cover. Some weird tiramisu notes show a cakiness, though it isn't sugary. Coffee is well-done, in the background, but also well-done. Fruity, spicy rum is also well-done and the malt in the background is supportive but not overbearing. Clean, with no alcohol in the nose. Wow, the maltiness is great, the sweet-dry balance is great and the coffee is well-done, with fruity, spicy, drying rum. And yet, this god damned tiramisu natural flavor is just rather gross. Lightly sugary, cheap, artificial tasting, like artificial vanillin. Still, the rest of the beer is so nicely-done. It's a shame we have to add these goofy, gross, weird sugar/artificial adjuncts.

Pours mahogany tinged black into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Rum, chocolate and coconut aromas. Medium to thin bodied with hot buttered rum, chocolate covered pit fruit and smoky, hot espresso front to back. Warming.
