Framinghammer is a unique creation that pays homage to our hometown of Framingham Massachusetts. This is a hard-working city that can handle some heavy-lifting beer and appreciates good craftsmanship. The Framinghammer base is perfectly suited for creating decadent, barrel-aged versions every year. Each batch spends a lengthy conditioning period in various casks to create a smooth, chocolatey texture that compliments some creative additions.
Whenever we team up with the mad donut geniuses at Union Square Donuts, we always come up with something wild. This is no exception. As we started on this collaboration, USD had just released a brownie batter donut, and the lightbulb was lit. This Framinghammer is inspired by their work so go check them out unionsquaredonuts.com.

2022 bottle shared by jcos, thanks amigo, 9/21/23. Dark brown color, lighter brown head. Whiskey, chocolate, and sugary. Somewhat medicinal on the finish. Kind of an odd mix, not really working for me. It just doesn't come together.

2022 bottle, drunk 6/25/23. Dark, massively over carbonated tan head. Nose is rich sugar, light bourbon, alcohol, fudge. Nothing offensive but lots of sweet notes. In the mouth it's a decent framinghammer with very light bourbon that has been ruined by excessively sugary adjunct additions. Dumped it out after a few sips.

5 oz. Draft. Nice deep brown in color. Aroma has cocoa, mild oak and whiskey. Flavor follows suit. Texture is fuller in body with some mild whiskey warming after the sip. Good.

Bottle from the Packie Pours an inky black with a huge bubbly tan head that slowly dissipates. Some over carbonation going on here. Big alcohol nose and warming. Chocolate caramel and light roast with a hint of tart cherry. Nice sipper.
