This beer is a real mouthful of Asian flavours all wrapped up in a smooth roasty porter. The cooling coconut and Kaffir Lime pair perfectly with eastern spices and cayenne heat to develop many layers of sensory awesomeness.

On tap. Black with some cream head. Cardamon nose. Jam packed with Thai spices, especially some chilli. Very warming. Plays off against the chocolate and coconut very well. Worth another look.

5th August 2017 The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. A minty cinnamon vibe which I guess us Thai spices. Some mild chilli heat. Smooth finish. Interesting.3.4

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Smooth and fluffy dark malts, some nice chocolate malteasers. Smooth and light coconut. Mildly tangy Thai spices that build to a decent warmth. Light finish. A very good and very brave attempt to do something out of the ordinary. It mostly works, just wants to be a little richer in the base and the spice. Very good and very different nonetheless.
