This beer is a real mouthful of Asian flavours all wrapped up in a smooth roasty porter. The cooling coconut and Kaffir Lime pair perfectly with eastern spices and cayenne heat to develop many layers of sensory awesomeness.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of cake, malt, yeast, and chocolate. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish notes og lactose and malt, and touches of vanilla and yeast. Spicy and roasty aftertaste with malty and estery touches. Reasonable.

440ml can. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of Thai curry spices, coconut, chocolate. Taste of Thai curry spice, coconut, chocolate, roast malt, bittersweet. Medium bodied, smooth. Wasn't sure but ended up feeling this worked surprisingly well and I really enjoyed it.

There's a Fierce beer bar in Manchester I have been to only once, I keep shinning it unnecessarily as it's the old Marble premises I frequented so much. With soft but flavoursome porters like this one maybe I should get over my mind psychology problems on this one.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours deep brown with a foamy khaki head. The nose holds light roast, toasted herbs, mint, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with big potpourri vibes, cocoa, roast. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes floral, with more potpourri, light chilli burn. So so overall.

440ml can sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Pitch black, thin tan head. Aroma has nice coconut and chocolate notes. Quite a nice spicy bite to taste, with lovely chocolatey malts and a soft coconut integration. Didn't quite expect it to be so spicy and warming, more heat here than most chili porters, but it works well and the coconut works well to off-set this. Really nice.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Crema head. Nose - coffee primarily. Chocolate and oats. Taste - creamy dark chocolate and coffee. Nougat and general hazelnut thing. Mint then coming through. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. It grows on the palate. Great linger and we'll delineated. Overall - lovely.

On tap at Slowbeer. Pours black with a light chocolate brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and roasted malts with a touch of Thai spice and a bit of coconut underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains and coconut with growing Thai spices and a touch of roast backing.
