Brewery draught, 3/30/24. Crystal clear, bright copper-golden. Small, white head, modest retention. Lovely balance of base malt, light, herbal hops, bit of crisp yeast and fruity, agave-filled stool without any harsh notes. Very minimal smoke is a bit surprising. Just gentle floral/vegetal notes. Clean. More stool in flavor. Earthy, floral, spicy, bit of spirit. Soft, malty body stands up to the barrel somehow. An ambitious experiment that is executed quite well.

12 oz draft. Aroma is very floral with hints of corn. Flavor is the same with some mild botanicals. Ends lightly sweet.

It's a gusher (been a while...). Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white head settles to hug rim. Funky tequila with a hint of mezcal aromas. Crisp and a little thin with sweet tequila, meadow and caramel front to back and through the medium length finish. Enjoyable, but the underlying lager starts to become more prominent as it warms docking it slightly.
