Can from De Bierverteller, Groningen. Aroma is fruity hops with tropical fruits, orange, some weedy dankness, mango, grapefruit, and soft pine resin. Flavour is above moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is above medium, no sign of the 10%, very well-balanced. Beautiful Imperial NEIPA.

Can shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours unclear gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose holds pithy citrus, lemon, grapefruit, melon. Medium sweet flavour with some bready pale malts, low bitterness, melon, papaya. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, nips of resin, more tropical fruits. Solid.

Tiny bit disappointed by this. Good bitterness, moderately juicy, not very boozy considering the ABV. Lightly tart citrus, some pineapple, fresh fruits, melon? Dense, fluffy mouthfeel, some maltyness. Dangerously easy drinking. Not as good as others.

Can 473ml (Mikkeller shop, no dates)
Hazy yellow colour, good white head. Hop pellety, danky aroma. Suprisingly dry, not juicy nose. Full-bodied. Front is overriped mango, then grapefruit, hop pellets, alcohol. Bitter aftertaste. Heavy stuff. Drinkability is not very good although this is not hopeless.

Can from Mikkeller Odense. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of sweet ripe fruit like orange, tangerine and peach with mango and melon, pine and spruce, and a tiny touch of vineous alcohol. Sweet fruity flavour with a touch of bready malt, a little alcohol, and a light bitter finish. Tasty, and really balanced for the strength

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/16/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.1%. Overall this is a fantastic NE DIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink, with the very mildly bitter/drying finish. Amazing soft mouthfeel. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank hop complexity; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
