Super rich but not cloying, rounded and layered dark malts, light smoke, earth, raisins, bourbon. Burnt toffee. Super.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a scummy tan head. Aroma is big spicy coffee, alcohol. Green pepper. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily, coffee, earthy roast, liquorice, sticky brown sugars palate is rounded oily tangy, alcohol warming.

Black with a tan cap.
Nose is rich roast, dried fruit esters, chocolate shavings, vanilla, bourbon spike.
Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, chocolate, light coconut shavings, raisins, light spice, bourbon rip.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow boost.
Solid.
Great barrel. Chocolate, little hot. Ace.

Bottle, 750 ml, shared with Hrvoje and MiroB. Black with almost no head. Chocolate, some nuts, bourbon, easy drinkable. Beautiful and balanced. Medium sweetness.

750mL bottle at SP Cellar, 2/13/24. Clear, dark, inky, viscous, no head. Elegant malts and barrel, both mellow and expressive rise up. Hints of cherry and vanilla with dark chocolate, lead, big, bold spice and caramel accents on the finish. Youthful with some burliness from barrel and abv, but nothing hot/sharp whatsoever. In the mouth it's rich with chocolate-caramel leading to huge bourbon notes, elegant and mellow. Sticky, thick and with light fudginess but drying out nicely via wood and bourbon on the finish. Clean, elegant and rich. Always a standout series from SP, which is saying a lot.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong chocolate, roast, prune, wood, licorice, bourbon. Thick, chewy, dark fruit, dark chocolate, roast, boozy, enjoyed this.
