Citrus IPA

Bright and tropical, this India Pale Ale brilliantly layers a citrusy blend of orange and tangerine with a robust hop profile. Crafted with real citrus and packed with as much flavor as a hop cooler, you won’t be able to stop at just one sip of this fresh and fruity beer.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is bready, nutty, wheat cracker, earthy, citrus, menthol. Pours mostly clear golden with a medium bone-white head that falls after a minute, leaving some lace. Taste is highly bitter, biscuity, light citrus. Good. You would think the citrus would be way more prominent, though, given the label and deScription.

Bottle - Lots of sticky orange notes. Clear orange gold with a small white heat. Bitter peel and sweet orange notes. Decent.

At Matt’s place. Citrusy and tropical fruits in the aroma. Quite similar to Total Domination IPA as for me. Tropical fruits bitterness in intense taste and a quite dry aftertaste. Good for people who like bitter beer.

Bottle from Legacy
Hazy golden color, small head. Light toffee aroma. Dry mouthfeel, good toffee malt body, strong bitterness, although it has some vegetable bitterness, chicory. I’m missing fresh hop notes.
Ok, but I’m not impressed.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of oranges and citrusy hops, backed by just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is very fresh and bright, with lovely citrus hops upfront, with lots of citrus juiciness, and just enough biscuity malt. Bright, balanced and finishing fairly dry. Really nice stuff.

Poured from a bomber it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a strong bitter taste with white grapefruit overtones with a bitter finish

Grapefruit and pineapple nose, mild honey and mango notes. Shimmering amber, medium sticky yellow head. Pronounced mango, grapefruit at midpalate and beyond. Full body, soft carbonation, alcohol evident. Nectar of the Gods, this is absolutely delicious.

On tap at Rustico Ballston pours a murky yellow with some creamy, white head. Nose is quite pleasant with tropical fruit, mango, light pineapple, guava, tangerine, some lemon curd, lightly floral. Flavor has a little chewy malt and a little bubblegum, then all fruit and citrus, guava, mango, straw, grass, tangerine, light white grapefruit. Crisp finish. Solid.

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is obviously a fresh ctrus blast from the hops and also a nice ginger. Flavor is again an over the top citrus. This is like eating a grapefruit right out of the rind. Very flavorful, no huge amount of sweetness from the malt and the alcohol noticable. This is a very flavorful beer.
