A collab with our friends at North Park. Brewed with Pilsen and VT grown flaked wheat, the crown jewel of this DIPA is in the utilization of NZ-grown Manilita and Rakau, on top of a base of Citra. Bright and fruit-forward with notes of papaya, white grape juice, and an undertone of stone fruit.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: murky copper color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pineapple, melon, white grapes and apricot-like hop tones, light clean biscuity malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a bittersweet to apricot-like juiciness; finishes with the white grapes & melons
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards the sipper side a bit more; good smoothness with a sly touch of creaminess, nice low carb, mellow bitterness
Overall: nicely done NEDIPA worthy of coming back to.

Goblet at the roost pours an oily yellow with some clumpy head. Boozy, pineapple, straw nose, floral, schnapps. Flavors follow. Starchy but the body lacks. Weird. Straw, flowers, big tropicals. Medium bodied and long. Mish mash.

16 oz can. Aroma is grapefruit, mild mango and yeast. The flavor is white grape and grapefruit with a near melon hint. Soft mouthfeel with almost zero bitterness. Certainly good and easy going down. However, was hoping for a bit more from this.

Canned 1/17, drunk 2/4/24. Only lightly hazy, tangerine-golden. Foamy, white head, feeble. Nose is interesting. Sweaty papaya and a hint of sulfur. Gooseberry, honey-like malt and a touch of pineapple upside down cake. No resin or booze. At first there's a weirdly-sweet overripe honeydew melon character that is off-putting and a bit punchy. Juice and malt remain strong with strong pineapple and papaya. Light, but mostly ample bitterness. It's weird as shit but absolutely unique and interesting which is hard to do in a world dominated by the style. I Like the gooseberry-like character in particular.
