Bottle 660ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2017 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Weird Beard Sadako (Tequila BA) ].Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, tequila, wood, light lime. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, wood - barrel, alcohol - tequila. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle shared at Chrisoโs and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Pours deep brown quite flat. Sweet toffee nose that has lots of plums soaked in milk chocolate. Dry and super cocoa powder taste, bit of booze. Nice dry finish, bit of vanilla, really spicy cocoa powder forward. Good, could even have a pint of this as itโs not cloying.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruthโs pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 1. A almost black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of dark mild roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, some wood barrel. Taste of strong chocolate malt, cofffe, bitter coffee, wood barrel, slightly boozy.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours black with a dense, creamy beige head. The nose holds ashy roast, baking cocoa, dried berries. Medium sweet flavour with more ashy roast, cedar, baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more ash, tobacco, some old leather, cedar, more baking cocoa, roasted malts. Good fun. Nice depth.

Bottle shared thanks to Leighton a jey black coloured pour with a lasting tan head attractive.. Flavour is oaky boozy,, cakey. Flavour is composed woody roast, raspberry. Harsh alcohol.. Flavour is composed of raspberry ripple, chocolate,.. Palate is semi sweet highish frothy carbonation.
