Well made nitrogen carbonated dry stout. Quite similar to Guinness. I believe I had this in London.

Tap at Wotton House Hotel, Dorking. A sweet and sour aroma - malts and rotting fruit. Red tinged darkest brown, with a fluffy beige head. Surprisingly sweet, with a bitter streak. Light bodied but creamy. Sugar. Easily drinkable.

Keg at Lord’s Tavern, London. Black with a middling beige head. Fake coffee. Rather sweet. Some roasty notes and caramel. The fakeness fortunately fades as you drink more but it remains sweet and dull. Drinkable though I guess.

Keg @ Shepherd’s Rest, Sowerby Bridge. Almost black with a creamy off-white head. Relatively smooth tasting, although it has more darker tasting malts than the roasted ones usually associated with this style.

Keg @ Linen Hall JDW, Llandudno [010415]
Very dark brown, dense oatmeal head
Aroma - Very little on the nose, cold
Taste - Some sweet dark malts, touch of dark chocolate, flavour lacks depth, watery
Palate - Soft nitro carb, light to medium body, soft sweet. Rapid finish, slight sweetness
Overall - Not great, comes across as rather watery, dull
