500mL bottled 3/25/2020, #290/960, drunk 1/7/24. It's a gusher! Guess even their BA stuff starts out sweet sometimes...maroon-amber-mahogany. small, beige head to ring. Big Weller vibes with brown sugar, vanilla and chocolate right behind it. No booze and lots of bourbon spice and warming. Wow that's still crazy sweet for almost four years... understand the gushing. Thankfully the Weller is well-represented, adding spice, liquor and dryness. Much needed. This is deeply malted, rich and lovely but ultimately still too sweet to be quite top tier.

Bottle (328/960) shared by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! It's a murky dark brown with light sparkle, ring of beige head, nice viscosity and no lacing. Aroma is strong caramel and rye whiskey in nice balance. Taste is lovely strong caramel, toffee, spicy rye, hint of apple and dark fruits. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, spiciness to the tongue, alcohol heat and finish as taste. Overall, things are well balanced here, good strength and decent complexity. Very good. A bit over 2 years old, which likely helped it.

500 ml bottle. Numbered 329/ 960. Aroma is rye whiskey and caramel. Flavor shows the spicy rye throughout with some black pepper and raisins. It is a good barely wine I’m just not a huge fan of rye.
