Bottle pour from membership group. Hazy, maple syrup brown with ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, bourbon. Taste is strong bourbon (slightly harsh), caramel, raisin. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, mild alcohol. Quite good but alcohol presence detracts.

500 ml bottle from the Barrel Membership. Bottle # 355/840. Aroma is toffee, oak, and vanilla from oak. Base flavor is toffee with a good amount of Heaven Hill bourbon. Decent body amd texture.

Bottled 7/11/23, #355/840, drunk 11/23/24. Medium amber clear. Beige head to ring. Rich, soft, spicy, mellow and dry. Not boozey. Caramel, light pnw hop. Juicy and spicy with rich bourbon and vanilla. Lingering caramel. Certainly better than the base but still a bit oddly hoppy and bitter with a bit too light a body.
