Cute little can. Chocolate, molasses, bourbon, light boozy, vanilla, oak. Fairly thick, warming alcohol, soft carb

Can thanks to Chow. Pours black with no head. The aroma is tobacco, wood, vanilla, chocolate. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, enjoyed this.

My first sample at FoBAB 2025! Category: Strong Porter/Stout. Very dark with the thick legs around the outside. Nice whiskey smell. Lovely thick beer taste. Bourbon right on the tongue.

8oz canned 10/07/2024, drunk 11/21/2024. Exceedingly dark, doesn't seem clear. Small, dark tan head quickly recedes to edge. Fudgey chocolate smells rich, not necessarily overly sweet/sugary. Bourbon seems pretty well-integrated, especially for a one-month old can...There's a bit of peppery alcohol warmth on the finish, but nothing egregious/hot nor is the bourbon raw/overly tannic. Lingering chocolate, vanilla, fudge and prune, but not too intense on the dark fruit, thankfully. Good strength and clarity of aroma. Touch of interesting oxidation tells of older threads. Soft, rich, thick, gooey, on the sweeter side with plentiful bourbon, but it's REALLY nicely-done bourbon with the spice and richness and no heavy tannin or coconut/booze. Big fudge, big vanilla, big raisin with good dryness coming on the finish in the form of light alcohol warmth and barrel tannin. Low roast, pleasantly, but not overly fruity. Really nicely-done stuff! Someone clearly knows their double mashing, barreling and blending at WB&D. Would happily pick up more from this brewery.

Straight barrel as id expect from Westbound and down, still wish I was in their membership!

So much barrel on this, so much dark chocolate. Drying finish, medium light body with plenty of flavor.
