Love in Idleness is a Grisette style beer (basically a low-ABV saison with a high proportion of malted wheat) which was brewed using flowers from our friends at Living Under One Sun, the community allotment next to the brewery. We wanted to brew something to help raise awareness and money for their fund-raising campaign to open a community hub in Tottenham.
Malt: Bohemian Pilsner, Malted Wheat, Spelt, Torrified Wheat, Acid Malt

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are lemon-ish, slightly citrussy, grisette I assume? Lightly bitter in the finish. Quite nice and refreshing albeit a bit weird imo.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2017. Day 2. Paler citrus, little head. Nos is weird BE, soap, dull, paper,…. Taste is coriander seeds, paper, soap, bland, sugar, plastic, BE,… Sugar plastic BE bodied. Story behind this beer is great, too bad that I didn’t like the beer, poor Belgian for me.

Clear pale milky yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty herbal, spicy, grains, yeast, hay. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft bitterness, watery, some citrus, yeast, fruity touch, bit grassy. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, spicy, pretty watery overall, not impressed.
