Traditional German wheat ale that is kettle soured for a tart flavor profile and thirst quenching finish. The addition of local blueberries create a nice, sweet balance paired with a beautiful berry hue.

Canned 6/27/24, drunk 9/12/24. Lightly cloudy blueberry pulp. Small, blueberry-tinged head. Fleeting. Excellent fruitiness, authentic, juicy, tart, floral...Not too much berliner, maybe could be a bit more wheat and lactic character, but at least it's not punchy. Yet it's plenty lactic/tart in the mouth. Juicy, gently tart, lots of soft, nutty wheat. Very light-bodied, not surprisingly, for 3.7%. Still, given how incredible the other entries in this series were, I think they kind of dropped the ball on these later entries (as in, whoever brewed the earlier stuff, didn't brew this). It's clean, tart, fruity, but just not up to par with what they were doing with this series back in the late 2010's.

Pours hazy ruby into a tulip. Pink head with excellent retention recedes laving trailing sheets. Blueberry aromas. Sharp with tart lactic blueberry and lemon upfront turning to an abrupt marshmallow finish.

Sampled in a 4 oz. glass at Stoneface. Purple color with a thin white head. The aroma has mild lemon juice, mild Lactic acid. The flavor shows me blueberry yogurt, sour wheat with tart berries In the finale. Acid level is about normal for the style.
