Herbal on the nose, tropical on the palate. Maybe not the freshest, but still tasting bright and hop-forward on keg

Goblet at OH DC. Translucent sunny yellow with a little bit of soapy white head. Big tropical nose, passionfruit and lychee, some stone fruits (I guess a lychee is too). Sherbet. Flavor has some booze, vanillin, peaches and melon and some pineapple schnapps. Full bodied and a little hot.

Pours a hazy, bright orange juice color, with smallish head. Aroma is a rather muted combo of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors are more pronounced and consist of a fairly sweet mix of citrus and tropical fruit, with some grass and pine notes. Mouthfeel is pretty soft and smooth. Very mild hop bitterness running through the finish.

Canton draught, 8/21/24. Turbid bronze-maize. Small, white head. That grassy sort of thing that LW-HDHC had is present. Maybe it's just that sprucey Galaxy again. The Nelson offers white grape/wine but little in the way of spice or rich mineral. White bread and honey easily balance. Some slight pine resin on the finish. Soft, sweet, malty, lots of honey character at least. Alcohol is next and gives a quick burn before yielding to fruity Motueka. Hint of spiciness on the finish but it's mostly pineapple and other head scratching notes that you don't expect/want from Nelson. Kind of pushing it on the sweetness/syrupiness, too.
