Joe’s Mexican White Ale pours straw in color with a fluffy white head. Belgian yeast esters are balanced out with a resfreshing spicyness from the lime peel & coriander. The finish is dry leaving a very resfreshing beer.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy pale yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sly sweet wheat, light earthy spice (can't quite right really pick out what kind of spice that it); some floral tones, light lemon; light notes of pear
Flavor: meshes the previously noted aromas to a fine sweet character as the earthy spice seems way more faded here; finishes lemony, subtle pears and a tone of some floral character
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; fairly smooth along the tongue
Overall: I accept this as a witbier though pretty lighter than the true Belgian ones but the other thing is where was the lime peel I thought I heard was supposed to be in this? I'd try this again in hopes of finding the lime

Undated can drunk 8/8/24. Lightly cloudy, brass-bronze-golden. Medium-sized, white head, steadily to ring. Round spice and gently fruity lime without any big acid, crude yeast or that sort of thing. Biscuity malts with a bit of honey seem well-done. Clean. Approaching more of a spiced Belgian blonde. Not all that witbier-like, as in, not too much of that crappy bubble gum and banana and clove. More malt-focused, with gentle lime and gentle spice folded in nicely. Clean, well-attenuated, good malt depth.

$4 single from Appalachian. Pint glass at home. Somewhat hazy, pale straw, lingering froth. Subtle, soft floral, whip cream nose. Creamy, savory, semi-sweet malt, sugar cookie, pollen, lacking strong phenols, like peel finish. Some regurgitated bitterness after the fact. Mellow, suddy, light acid, cleaner than average finish. Meh.
